We stayed at this amazing desert camp for one night and it exceeded all our expectations. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway and the tents were comfortable and luxurious. The hospitality provided by the staff was outstanding, from the traditional Omani dinner to the warm and friendly interactions with their children. The camp was well-maintained and organized, with only four tents and a maximum of eight guests at any time. The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking views of the night sky and the incredible moonlight. a truly unforgettable experience.
Can recommend this hotel.

The location was out of this world - we felt like we were in a different universe! The sunset views were unreal, and we had a blast exploring the majestic desert sands. The starry night sky left us speechless, and we made memories that will last a lifetime. The staff was super chill and friendly, making our experience even more awesome. Definitely recommend for thrill-seeking friends!
We wished there was more late-night entertainment for party animals like us. It would have been great to have some cool desert-themed parties or bonfires to keep the adrenaline pumping even after the sunset.

I always come back here. No regrets. Staff helped with an insect bite. This place has everything I need: 24-hour security, outdoor dining area, picnic area, airport shuttle, express check-in/out. Coming back for New Year.

I had an exceptional stay at a hidden gem in the Wahiba Desert. Driving through the desert in a rental 4x4 Land Cruiser was an exhilarating adventure that I highly recommend. The hosts at the camp were incredibly welcoming, treating us like cherished guests. The location and camp itself were pristine, offering a paradise under the starry sky. Plus, the hosts provided helpful assistance in planning day activities. The only downside was the lack of mobile phone signal, but that actually added to the relaxation. I highly recommend this unforgettable experience.

The location of the camp is incredible, right in the middle of the desert. The serene and peaceful atmosphere offers the perfect escape from the crowded tourist areas. The staff are friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any needs. The traditional Omani dinner and delicious breakfast provided a taste of local cuisine.
The lack of additional activities such as camel rides or quad bike rentals may disappoint those seeking a more adventurous experience.

Stayed in a luxury tent with my own personal majlis? Check. Spectacular sunset and sunrise views? Check. Delicious meals and friendly staff? Check. Like being on another planet, minus the aliens.
Had to come back to reality. Bummer.

The Starwatching Private Camp in the desert was an extraordinary experience. Luxurious tents, delicious food, and a beautifully decorated camp. Azim, the host, was friendly and provided excellent service. The intimate atmosphere allowed us to enjoy the stunning sunset and sunrise on top of the sand dunes. The addition of a bathroom in the middle of the desert was impressive. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and the best night of our holiday.
Felt very at home, no complaint.

The landscape was absolutely stunning and made for a romantic escape. We loved being surrounded by the serene wilderness of the desert. The luxury tent was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a romantic getaway. The highlight for us was the breathtaking view of the sunset and sunrise from the top of the dunes. It was truly a magical experience.
The camp was a bit difficult to find, as there were no clear signs or directions. We had to rely on our GPS, which wasn't always reliable in the desert.
